Where it started
Music has been part of my life since childhood. I started with violin, later played clarinet, and became especially drawn to percussion and drum line. Before I was producing digitally, I was making beats on tables with pencils.

I'm Jukes, a music producer from Oakland, California.
The turning point
The biggest shift was going from physical rhythm-making to digital production. Learning GarageBand showed me how to take the beats I was already making and build recorded music from them.
Building the sound
Over time I kept expanding into guitar, Logic Pro, recording, mixing, 808-heavy production, and live instrumentation. The tools changed, but the goal stayed the same. Get closer to the sound I hear in my head.
